Little Colton is seriously ill. He almost dies. After an extended hospital stay and 2 surgeries, he is finally given the clear to go home. Time passes. During a family vacation, Colton begins to quite matter-of-fact(ly) talk about Heaven, Jesus and relatives and family he has met in heaven. People that had passed before he was born, and he had no previous knowledge of them. He answers questions with answers that agree with what the Bible says about heaven! He talks about Jesus having beautiful eyes and about Jesus holding him during one of his surgeries!
I don't want to spoil the book for you :) So we'll leave it at that! But you really must read this. If you are a Christian this will make you want to go even more, and if you are not ready; hopefully this will make you realize how REAL heaven really is!
I read the book in one evening (finished it at midnight!). I just could not put it down! I laughed-out loud and I cried - alot. I have always believed Heaven is real, but with Grampa's Homegoing (and others we know that have made their crossing all in about a months time of one another) I know even more that Heaven is REAL!
AND
before this day is through and it's no longer Feb. 8, 2011; I want to wish my Father-in-law a very "merry" Birthday :) Wish we could have celebrated with you!! We did in our hearts....
