So long Valentines Day

This milkglass pot holding the tulips combined with...

this paper heart garland...
has made our little dining area so fun for the month of love. I'm thinkin' maybe butterflies or flowers for spring :)
Our ♥ day celebrations began with a church Valentine Banquet. Even with some last minute details to attend to I think it's pretty safe to say we all enjoyed our night out!
We played games like "Give me some sugar", where you and you're spouse had to untie a wrapped candy without using your hands :) - that one was fun!
Four couples were chosen to see how well they could recognize their mates nose...yes, NOSE! This game was our Pastor's idea!
After the holes were cut in the sheet and the noses were in place. The wives were called back in to pick our their mate. I did guess mine correctly ;)
Sunday after getting home from church the girls had a bunch of goodies to look through. I wasn't sure if it was Christmas or Valentines day ;)

Today the girls have enjoyed more Valentines treats and puzzles!

Thanks to both sets of Grandparents for the goodies!

Valentine Love

I needed a little break from my day ... maybe you do too?! Valentines Day ranks right up at the top of my favorite holidays. I love doing special little touches for the people in my life.

How about a potted plant? a teaser for Spring and as a bonus it will last longer than cut flowers.

I love both of these ideas to use for Katrina's school valentines...now I just need to decide!

This one especially caught my eye, because she is the only girl in her class.

I love the simplicity of these cupcakes, you could also use red cherry twizzlers for the 'x'.
Isn't this just the sweetest little backpack? There are more. Go here.

I love everything in this picture! The love note in a bottle. the candles. the rose petal bath. bliss.
Here is the perfect little apron for hosting a Valentines party!

Etsy

Definitely will be making these for the girls :)
Little Nummies

I'm hoping to get to make a heart banner - maybe tonight :)
