About a week or so after Valentines Day, Jaron had work-related seminars to attend in Orlando. He asked his employer if it would be o.k. for me to tag along and the o.k. was given! We both really looked forward to getting away for a day and a half, just us, in the middle of a week. We stayed at one of the Disney Resorts, and that was paid for by the company! Yeah! The only thing we paid for was gas and food. During the seminar Jarons' food was paid for by the company. :)
While he was learning about chinch bugs, bed bugs and vegetation I was out shopping at the Orlando Outlets :) I've always liked shopping and still do. However, this time I had decided I would buy clothes for myself. I don't know about you other Moms out there, but I usually spend all the clothing money on my kiddos making them look cute! Which I LOVE to do, but then my wardrobe suffers a bit. I found out I'm REALLY out of practice buying clothes for myself! I tried on many outfits, but most always ended up putting them back. I did get a really cute ruffle-y top from Nautica that I paid $7ish for :) Even though I didn't buy much I still enjoyed walking and looking around.
After Jaron was finished for the day, we went to our 2nd favorite seafood restaurant, Red Lobster and ended up choosing the same meal - isn't that sweet?! :) After being stuffed there, we drove back to our room, parked the car and walked to Downtown Disney, where had our picture taken with this Lego version of Woody from Toy Story. Let me tell you, that Lego store was CRAMMED full of people! So we didn't stay in there long.
This was his 'default' pose....
After the little girl walked up there and turned her back to him, then he would interact with them...for this little girl he choose to remove her minnie-mouse ears....
He just did a really excellent job interacting with the different people who would come up to stand with him and doing all of this without cracking a smile or (seemingly)opening his eyes; and his movements were always very smooth and fluid.
Further on down was this hot-air balloon (I had seen it in the air during the day), with Wendy and her siblings on their way to Neverland.
It was so nice to spend together, just us!
