The very beginning...A very good place to start

Well, it's been a little while since anything has been added to this space...so here's an attempt to (kind-of) get caught up since Easter. 
  Our Easter Sunday weather was perfect, sunny and not hot - that was a treat!  I left my camera at home, and we had lunch at Mom and Dad's...these pics are compliments of Dad!  (Thanks)

I had curled their hair, but by lunchtime the humidity and their high energy levels :) had taken care of their "do's".

Katrina could not be persuaded to join in this picture...

There we go, all three with their Aunt Angela :)

The girls made out like bandits this year in Easter loot!  So much so, we didn't even give them their baskets from us until Wednesday night after church.  You can see they are more than a little excited ;)

Easter Egg Mail

Now that Easter is over, I can share this fun little activity the girls and I did. 

We used the larger size plastic eggs (from my stash) and added in some candy, those individually wrapped Koolaid Fizzy tablets, 1 bouncy ball and some easter grass.  Everything fit kind of snug - no biggie!

Next, we taped the egg closed using mailing tape and making sure to put the recipient's address under the tape.  Then the girls took turns sticking on the stamps - 4 per egg.

and put the flag up...I really do wonder what our mail-lady thought when she picked up our mail that day ;)

 Our little surprises were sent off to their cousins and two of their little friends in PA!
