We have been in the spirit of the season for a little while now :) Christmas is still a "question" in Katrina's mind, like she isn't really sure what it is all about yet?! So, we have been making little jingle bell wreath ornaments (THANKS Gammy) and a Christmas paper chain, so that we can count the days off until Christmas day. She still hasn't caught on to "asking for certain things for Christmas (thank goodness); tonight when Paula was over, she asked Katrina what she wanted for Christmas, her reply: a normal duck! :) Whatever that is supposed to mean! HAHA
But, most importantly we have talked about the real reason for this special season. When I was putting up the Nativity scene, we talked about baby Jesus and who his Mommy and Daddy were. She wanted to know where they lived and who the other people(wisemen and shepherds) were...so I did my best to explain it to her in "3 yr. old" terms.

Her Christmas chain only has 15 links, since we will be going to FL for Christmas (YIPPEE), so at the time, it was 15 days until our family Christmas here. And believe me, she caught on quick; now she comes to me and reminds me to help her take a link off and then we count the remaining days together! :)
