Visiting the Mouse

Recently we had a little family outing to the city!

First stop was JCPenny's for our Spring family pictures - which I need to go pick up - a certain Gammy is very anxious for them :) We wore our Easter finery :)
2nd stop was a routine dental check-up. Everything went well and the next visit will be in the Fall.
3rd stop - Chuck E. Cheese!! It was about supper time and you just can't lose with food and games. This was our 2nd time to go, but it was just as exciting for the girls as the first time!

I think that Katrina at Chuck E. Cheese would be the closest thing to how she would be were she ADHD - thankfully she's not :) Just too many exciting things there to stay in one spot - I mean after all, she might MISS something!! HAHA



She wasn't the only one intent on winning the horse race! The poor horse was running all over the track!



Courtney was content just taking it all in - I think she must have been in total shock of all the lights and noise!



Katie had the most fun with the Whack-a-mole!




In totally unrelated "mouse-news"....
First, a little background. Courtney has grown out of all her socks and so I bought her some new ones. White ankle socks - they're my favorite! Remember, all new socks even after a wash or two still shed some fuzz.
Courtney was sitting on my lap, barefoot. Katrina came into play "Little Piggies " with her and discovered some sock fuzz. She said, "Mom, she has FUR between her toes!!!" As if that were just unthinkable! HA
After picking her "fur" she did play "Piggies" with her. It was all classic, until the end.

this little piggy stayed at home,
this little piggy had roast beef,
this little piggy had none,
and this little piggy went home and made supper!"

You just NEVER know WHAT they are thinkin'!!
