Celebrating Katie

3 years ago, on September 7, our biggest baby weighing in at 8 lbs. 13 oz. was born without the help of any anesthetic!! Not by choice though! HA! She decided she was ready to make her appearance, no waiting for an epidural!!
We had a small, just family party to celebrate this milestone!

The menu consisted of Meatloaf(Martha Stewart's), Mayonnesa (Brazilian Potato Salad), Butterfly and Flower Raspberry Jello Jigglers. Nana brought the Devilled Eggs, and Baked Beans to help round out the meal! Thanks!

I just had to put this in here, she was smiling so sweetly :)

The cake was a Strawberry box cake with homemade frosting...yeah, a box mix! Simple and easy! Works for me!

Don't you wish you could have some! It was delish and oh so moist!

Time for the presents!

Big Sis had to help out. She was pretty excited for Katie!

This picture cracks me up! She is all sober here, won't smile for a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. When all the presents have been opened, this one is the first she want's to play with! Thanks Gammy and Grampa!

I love this party picture the most! You can just tell how super-excited she was to have her own little tin tea set! Big Sis recieved hers when she turned 3 and believe me, they have gotten a ton of fun out of it!


More playdough, the existing stash was a tad past it's prime! See what Big Sis is doing in the background? Yeah! She's "helpful" like that! LOL

Raspberries for Mommy! This is a nightly ritual. Every night when we kiss the girls goodnight and tuck them into their beds; Katie gives me a kiss and then TWO raspberries and then we both giggle! I hope she keeps doing that for a while ;)
